In this seminar, designed to be beneficial for physicians, clinical and non-clinical personnel, participants will learn the definition and practical application of CPT® codes utilized daily within the Radiation and Medical Oncology office.  Process of care, appropriate documentation of services and billing techniques will be included in the course materials along with specific examples detailing coding scenarios and documentation examples.  Specialty coding examples will be provided in areas including but not limited to IMRT, IGRT, SRS and Brachytherapy along with chemotherapy and hydration.  Attendees will also learn key business office processes for the success of the oncology practice.  Objectives will include details on the importance of patient registration, financial counseling, timely charge entry, accurate cash applications and accounts receivable resolutions.
